Primary duties include scheduling of appointments either on the telephone or in person, checking in patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments. Looking for experienced applicant to provide healthcare services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and planning under the supervision of a physician. Coordinates orders for lab, x-ray, tests, referral to specialists, etc.
Requirements: State certification/licensure. Certification by the National Commissions for the Certification of Physician Assistants. Unrestricted DEA licensure. Eligible to maintain status with Medicare and Medicaid. Two years’ experience in a Family Practice setting preferred.
